Debunking Energy Transition Myths Instagram Series
We worked with Energy Allies, Energy Democracy Project, and Kristy Drutman of Browngirl Green to debunk the myth that the transition to clean energy is “too expensive.”
Stanford University released a report showing how 143 countries can achieve 100% clean energy that pays for itself in just a few years by improving energy efficiency and scaling wind, hydroelectricity, and solar power – and all of this would only require .17% of land area to do so.
Scaling up these technologies will generate an estimated 28.6 million full-time jobs and would save the US $1.3 trillion annually in energy costs.
