In March 2023, The Just Solutions Podcast launched to explore relevant projects, policies, and stories from the perspective of communities most impacted by climate change—Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and those with lower incomes. We recently wrapped up season 1 and are celebrating our incredible guests and dedicated audience who have tuned in over the past year!

As a national organization, Just Solutions works to advance innovative, equitable strategies to address the climate crisis, committed to the leadership of frontline communities. We focus on turning their priorities into policies that foster healthy, resilient communities and accountable democratic institutions centered on racial and economic justice.

The Just Solutions Podcast offers important insights into potential solutions for some of the biggest issues facing environmental justice communities. In season 1, we shared twenty interviews with guests from various industries, backgrounds, and areas of expertise. We covered innovative community-created solutions like the Portland Clean Energy Fund and Washington’s Healthy Environment for All Act. Our guests delved into technical issues like nuclear energy and grid resilience to understand their impact on frontline communities. We also explored the intersection of climate justice with the priorities of BIPOC, immigrant, and LGBTQ+ communities.
