Sonia Marroquin (she/her/hers) provides overall operational support, manages systems, and provides assistance to the Executive Director of Just Solutions Collective.

Sonia brings over 10 years of experience managing programs across sectors and has specialized in inclusive recruiting operations and equitable staff retention strategies. Sonia is deeply passionate about diverse representation across an organization and that staff are invested in and empowered to unleash their fullest potential. Although not an environmentalist by trade, Sonia is committed to ensuring BIPOC communities are at the center & forefront of the climate crisis solution.

Sonia received her B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies and Anthropology from The University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is based in the Bay Area where you can find her hiking, learning about animals and plants, creating visual art collections, or enjoying a good story.
