Hebah Kassem (she/her), Director of Federal Initiatives, leads the federal innovative hub and strategy at Just Solutions and is based in Arlington, VA. She has substantial experience in public health and climate and environmental justice policy, legislative affairs, community & grassroots organizing, and political strategy. She has previously served in numerous roles leading federal and state policy and advocacy including at Sierra Club, Green New Deal Network, Congressional Progressive Caucus Center, and the Michigan Public Health Institute. Hebah holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Illinois-Chicago in Environmental and Occupational Health Policy and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan.
